Know of a great band you think we'd like to hear about? Got some music news? Or just want to talk about music in general? Post it here.

Tonight- Neko Case, Sierra Nevada Brewery Big Room (which isn't big at all, holds about 320 people, smaller than her typical venue)

Damn, Bill, that's a couple of great weekends worth of music.

I would love to hear some of your thoughts/reviews on those shows, especially hiss and ryley walker. Thanks!

One of the best shows I've seen in a long time and there were maybe 50 people there. Glorious and shameful at the same time. Plus the Don Julio set of Italian music was fantastic as well.

Saw Trampled by Turtles on Friday night for the first time, in La Crosse, Wisconsin (about an hour from me). They were excellent, but the venue was horrific. It was basically a convention center with no acoustics whatsoever. Worst beer lines I've ever seen too.

Afterwards, went to a little bar down the street that was packed with a local band called Gregg Hall & The Wrecking Ball. They fucking smoked. Trampled showed up to watch them, too. Great night of music in the Driftless.

Is this his solo/acoustic tour? :D

I've seen him play a number of times and it is consistently a great show. Who know watching someone read could be so enjoyable.

This will be our 4th or 5th time, he’s always great. Always nice to see a fellow North Carolinian, even if he’s from Raleigh (wasn’t born there but his formative years were there)
