Who's Everyone Seeing Live?

Know of a great band you think we'd like to hear about? Got some music news? Or just want to talk about music in general? Post it here.

I really fucking needed that. New lineup , not touring on an album, tons of deep cuts, brilliant new songs

Lincoln Continental
Aerosol Ball
Patty
??? (chorus is something about TV Mama, but it's not the Big Joe Turner song)
Silver in the Shadow
Meadow of a Dream
Salvation Army Girl (new song)
Wonderful Life
Whiskey in My Whiskey
Ghost Town, New York (new song)
Love Me Tenderly
Special Announcement (new song)
Rockefeller Drug Law Blues
Undress (new)
Got What I Need
Plunder
Cherry Licorice
White Limo
---
New Song (didn't mention title, but it was amazing)
Length of Chain

It's too bad so much of the Felice Brothers catalog is out of print.
And I knew when I woke up Rock N Roll would be here forever

That's a pretty solid Felice Bros set list.

I have two great nights coming up in October....Turnpike Troubadours at the Lyric in Oxford, Mississippi one night and Roger McGuinn, Chris Hillman, Marty Stuart on the Sweetheart Of The Rodeo tour the next night in Nashville.

Yeah, it was great. Career-spanning with several tunes that should make it onto a new album. Leaner line up as well; no fiddle player, and there is now a woman playing bass.

Do you know any good sources for their out of print albums? Yonder is the Clock is the oldest one that's available through iTunes. God Bless, Amigo, Mix Tape, and their earlier stuff aren't available for purchase anywhere I can see

Same here, been listening to that one more often than anything of late. Texted LeBrod earlier to express my envy

James McMurtry Sunday in Grand Junction CO
James McMurtry Monday in Telluride CO

Attending both shows with the one and only ——— my daughter.
Her first concert was an outdoor McMurtry show, she was seven days old.
Now she’s eleven and a fierce songwriter herself.

How was this, Bill? Very curious, especially since they are putting a new album out and I've noticed they've basically been doing only 1 Crowes cover at most every night so far.

Ray Wyle Hubbard and son Lucas last week at the Sellersville Theater about an hour north of Philly (drummer Kyle not pictured; there was no bass player). This was the first time in 3 or 4 years that I've seen RWH live and he was great. Played all the great songs and must have thrown out a thousand of his glorious (and well rehearsed) one liners. But the revelation was Lucas Hubbard, man has that kid become a guitar player. He's got the greasy dirty country blues, and his playing is the prefect complement to his old man's songs. I hit the show solo after a couple hours fly fishing in a nearby stream - definitely a fun day/night.

I’m on the way home from Floydfest. I saw a bunch of good music. South Hill Banks is a lesser known band whom I’d highly recommend. I’m always a little sad after Floydfest is over!
