Friday— Father John Misty/Blitzen Trapper at the Britt Pavilion, Jacksonville, OR

Hoping that all the fires up near the border are fully contained by then and that there are no new ones, as this is an outdoor show and smoke could be a real issue

Bottle Rockets had to cancel due to an illness in someone's family, which sucks. Hopefully everyone is ok and they get on the mend and back at it. The band that filled in for them was competent.

Shooter was very solid. He had a really good band, and I didn't realize how much piano he played. He was a damn good pianist.

Old 97's. God damn. Glad to get them off the bucket list. They're an absolute blast live. If you like them at all, see them.

Turnpike. They're simply one of the best bands going today, and really hitting their prime. Brilliant songs, super tight as a band, and energy off the charts. They're slip into semi-celebrity tabloid status has not effected the music one damn bit.
