They should really just rename themselves as The Glory Fires. It's such a clunky band name right now.

Check out that interview with the Greenview Journal a couple of posts up. He mentions that Sub Pop wanted to make some changes to the record and he wasn't interested.

Thanks. I may have actually read that and then halfway forgot about it, or just suspecting something like that had been going on.

They need to drop Lee's name and just be "The Glory Fires".

^^^ Total agreement! The new songs previewed from this album so far signal a slightly new direction both sonically and in terms of songwriting imo. I approve!

Just snatched up a $10 ticket for the Beat Kitchen in Chicago which as a capacity of 200. $4 Tiger Tall Boys and $7 Empanadas that night.
That's value right there.
