Re: Eddie Hinton.
The anthology is available on Amazon. Here is the link.

I did manage to find a used vinyl copy of Very Extremely Dangerous for two dollars at my local record store about a year ago. Eddie Hinton's work is hard to find but well worth the effort.

Re: Eddie Hinton.
You seem to be able to get some of them from Amazon but the guys at Zane records also put out some interesting stuff, mainly unreleased session tracks.

Re: Eddie Hinton.
Really nice Eddie Hinton blog post focusing on Very Extremely Dangerous here.
I'm not sure I ever go much more than a week without some Eddie Hinton. If a better knowledge of his music was the only thing I ever got out of my DBT experience, which of course it isn't, I think it would be all worth it. One of the true greats.

I have Dear Y'all, Letters, Hard Luck Guy and Very Extremely Dangerous. I need to get the rest. Think the Songwriting Sessions Vol 2 is my next purchase. Would love to have these on vinyl. Everything I have bought has been from iTunes.

Patterson quoted herein and the DBT Hinton covers included too. One of the most extensive articles about Hinton I have ever seen in general media for his admission into the Alabama Music Hall of Fame. It will be interesting to see if he is included in the Muscle Shoals TV series being produced by Johnny Depp. Nancy Wilson of Heart is the music producer.
Patterson and David Hood, John Paul White and friends had a Edie Hinton retrospective at the Due South Festival in Tallahassee, FL recently. Great show.
