Guns N Roses / Aerosmith - 1988 or 89.
Members of *ahem* our party were busted in the parking lot for underage drinking and possession of alcohol. But they only gave out summonses and let us see the show after all. Not that I can remember any of it.

Ha ha ha, you guys are sooooo funny.
The story is that Mrs Clams had a friend who worked for a local advertising firm and she used to get free tickets for all kinds of events that came through town. This was back in the mid 1990's. So apparently the George Michael show had a lot of unsold tickets (I know, imagine that) and so she asked us if we wanted to go. A bunch of us went. To this day, I'm hoping to hear a DBT cover of Careless Whisper.
FN: I admit to including a few Wham and George Michael songs among my many guilty pleasures.

It was a total fluke. I was going to school in KC; Lawrence, KS (KU) is about 30 minutes away. Of course the tickets sold out about 15 seconds after they went on sale, plus I was a broke college student, so I didn't even consider going.
Then the day of the show, the lovely Julia Donk said something came up and would I want (as in free) her Bob Marley tickets.
I chalk it up to karma.

That's the utter shame of my concert-attending career and something I'll regret as long as I live.
I was 17 at the time, living in a small town about two hours away (just across the Okla./Ark. line). Here's why I couldn't go: My friend who was going to go (and drive) pussed out, there was a blizzard that night, and worst of all...
My mom wouldn't let me use her car.
How punk rock is that?

that Faith song is excellent. As are his boots (silver tipped black cowboy boots), and that BSA jacket. A look I wish I could pull off, but know i would look ridiculous
I've never taken a pissbreak during a DBT show but if I had it would have been during Dancing Ricky.

I was riding a motorbike from Christchurch (where I am from) to Wellington (where I lived) the night the Clash played in Wellington Town Hall in 1981. Wellington is in the North Island and Christchurch is in the South. Distance is about 320km (what, 200 miles?) of road and 20km of ocean.. This particular day I got distracted by something in town, got away late and missed the fucking ferry. ended up overnighting in some godawful hostel in Picton and catching the morning boat. All my mates were raving about the BEST concert they had ever seen. Ever. played all of London Calling, most of the first record, two encores and one guy even said he got into the after party.
not that I am bitter or anything. Oh no. No bitterness at all.
I've never taken a pissbreak during a DBT show but if I had it would have been during Dancing Ricky.
