Zach Bryan - "American Heartbreak"

Side note, but I'm perturbed that I spent ~$50 on the LP pre-order of this album (that is currently expected to ship in March) and don't even get a download code on release day. I get that most people stream these days but I also like to have the actual files available to me since I sometimes change the streaming service that I'm subscribed to at a given time.

Velvet Crush - Teenage Symphonies to God
Matthew Sweet - Girlfriend
Radiohead - OK Computer and The Bends OK Computer seems to me to be easily the more accomplished, ambitious statement kind of record but heck, I just like the songs on the bends better.
The Indestructible Beat of Soweto - Christgau's been flogging this one for literally decades and rightfully so. First listen in years and it holds up beautifully. Wonderful stuff that'll put a smile on your face and a shake in your booty.

i busted out Crying Your Knife Away on Saturday... pretty sloppy in parts but some excellent performances nonetheless, esp Closer You Are.

I think the second half is stronger than the first, but it’s a really solid record.

Lots to absorb, but have enjoyed the first couple of plays.

Kind of lost track/ignored ol' Steve the past decade of so, but going back and catching up. He's playing near me next month (Torrington, CT) and thinking about going.

Jeff’s best writing in at least 15 years. Love it great album been on repeat since Friday 8am. How I’ve missed Wilco and their country sound.
