If you haven't listened to it, the latest Jeff Tweedy record sounds like he may have had some espresso before recording. Could be his kids' influence.

Love Is the King is outstanding. His other collaboration with his son Spencer, Sukierae, is great as well.

Lovely version of "Over the Rainbow" on this release. Watched "Wizard of Oz" yesterday & got inspired.

TG Shepard is from Humboldt, Tennessee, which is near where I'm from. I think Devil In The Bottle is a great song, but when he sings "by exscaping to the only freedom I've ever known".... I damn near have to tap out. No one here above the age of 8 says 'exscape'.
