didn't see this coming... was their last record before 2000?
edit - Positraction came out in 1998. this is excellent stuff. came out last year but i ordered it via a friend in europe (we do buys for each other, and then bundle and ship as a batch to save money) and i just got it a few weeks ago.

Digging this.
And I was digging it before I realized it was recorded in Memphis with a Memphis heavy band. Dave Smith, the bass player on the record, plays in a band with a guy who lives right down the street from me.
My intro to Dinosaur Jr. Bought it on a whim back when it came out. Just a great album. "We're Not Alone" is probably my favorite, but "Crumble" is great as well. "Almost Ready" is one of those openers that just grabbed me instantly on first listen.

Yeah, that's the best reunion album, with Farm a close second. Speaking of great latter day Dino Jr. songs, "I Don't Wanna Go There" fuckin' smokes.

That's a good one too. "Farm" isn't quite "Beyond", but it's got it's moments. "Pieces" and "Over It" always get me going.
