Whoah. Really? Yeah, first sign of a keeper.

Saw Avetts tonight and they played Just Be Simple. And it was amazing. Some may say "blasphemy" but I say you should have been there. I think I may have been one of 25 people in the amphitheater that new the song. That said, I have a feeling that will change. One day.

There are days I think CCR is the best American rock band ever.

Jah Wobble's bass on this is otherworldly. Or, as dime would say, Jah Wobble is a ninja.

My 10 year old self agrees. They were my first favorite band.

It’s way less polished than Freedom’s Goblin. Kind of all over the place. Need more time with it

Fogerty doesn't like it but I think his self titled solo album is as good as those Creedence records. IMO he was as great as anyone has ever been during the period from 1966-ish-1975ish.

Lately:

Kurt Vile
Courtney Barnett's new one
Springsteen at the Roxy 1978
Meek Mill
DBT southern rock opera
Kinks playlist
Tyler Childers Redbarn Radio
Mudcrutch
Sarah Shook

My $.02, Fogerty is one of the greats and I do believe he gets his due.

Kching: Make that 4 cents. FWIW, I've heard Springsteen call Fogerty one of the greatest American songwriters ever.
