neither had i. stumbled upon it while looking for something else last night. i appreciated it when i first heard it but ive gotten way more into that stuff since and it really knocked me out this morning


just getting around to this. bands been really popular in the area for a few years now (and i believe she took guitar lessons from mary timony at some point) so i had high hopes but its just alright. i get the local adoration but the national acclaim is way overboard. sounds excellent but it feels about 10 minutes too long since the songs arent all that catchy. the soccer mommy album from this year hits the same vibe but with much stronger songs

I always thought the line was "pave the lot" which didn't make a ton of sense (you aren't going to pave the lot multiple times usually), but definitely added to my mental image of a cheap, shitty used car lot with a gravel/dirt parking lot.
