I think they aren't including the 2 concerts on the LP version.

PS: The Lips tend to be real fan friendly on pricing of stuff. They probably figured the LPs for the whole thing would be real expensive. They're using the 180 gram vinyl etc. I had to give up on vinyl a long time ago. Just too damn expensive.

Vinyl is expensive relatively speaking but the cost of it is perfectly in line with what it should be if you figure in inflation. I'm not saying it's the case here but for some odd reason, a lot of people believe they should still be able to pay the same price for it now as they did back in the 70's and 80's as though the price of pretty much everything else hasn't gone up since then. If you know where to shop, you can find some pretty good deals on vinyl. At least that's been my experience. You can even find some at places such as Target for between 20 to 25 dollars for new releases. BTW, I also support independent record stores.

I buy most of my music at an independant record store. On the Lips I needed a book & they had a pretty screaming deal on the box set so I picked it up & got free shipping. I did buy the Cure "Wish" at my local even though it was a bit more expensive. Didn't want to wait on that one! The other factor is my hands don't work too well due to severe damage from over a decade fighting arthritis. So I drop stuff a lot. Mostly that's not going to hurt cds where it would be tragedy with vinyl. Being on a fixed income now, it's just the smart move for me.
