By any chance was the lead singer of Alvvays once in the Acid House Kings?

So while looking for cover artwork to post, I found that Wal-Mart apparently keeps Frank Black albums in the "Bacon, Hot Dogs & Sausages" section, specifically under "Hot Dogs." Frank/Charles/Black Francis is probably cool with that.

I'm not sure if you're making a funny but in the event you're not, no, she wasn't. She has a pre-Alvvays solo EP out there (called She) but I'm not sure what other bands she was in. Not what you're asking but her late father (John Morris Rankin) was in the Rankin Family. I'm pretty sure I saw them at Merlefest back in either 96 or 97. Possibly both years.

Got this at the show. Quite good. Micah has added another guitar player since this came out. They played a really solid 45 minute set opening for the Flaming Lips. I enjoy Promise of the Real but this is way more up my alley. Micah also played a mind blowing guitar solo on one of the Lips songs.
