it is. doesnt seem the bands been up to anything since, sadly.
this is pretty wonderful. ive been really into jazz that straddles the line with ambient a lot lately. jon hassells' last night the moon... is a great example. this ones a bit more conventional in structure but has some great synth textures to get lost in

Wow, Shakes, you've been hitting my wayback machine pretty hard anyway, but Eberhard Weber Until I saw your post I had literally forgotten that I used to listen to his stuff. I feel like I have to ask whether you're familiar w/ Steve Reich's Music for 18 Musicians?
What used to be is gone and what ought to be ought not to be so hard
i have not, but i know thats a big one i'll need to hear eventually. the "problem" is i get tripped up by there being multiple different recordings of it
i think this is the only reich i know:
different trains is more interesting than enjoyable, but electric counterpoint is mesmerizing and where i first heard pat metheny

The images at Google have changed. Now they only offer "Visit" or "Share" and I no longer know how to post an album cover here. Any help would be appreciated.
The closer you get to the meaning
The sooner you'll know that you're dreaming

Here's what I've done: drag the desired photo to your desktop. Then use a free upload site- I use https://ctrlq.org/images/ - to upload the photo, at which time you will be given a direct link url to use to imbed the photo here
Son, this ain't a dream no more, it's the real thing

I highly recommend!
any idea if these are actually different recordings than the boards that already circulated, or just the same old ones newly released on this bootleg label?

Yea, they are just new to this bootleg label. I see the contrast clauses in the info now. I didn't have any of the previous ones so they are new to me at least but yea, they are all previously released by others. I'm still new to the bootleg/DIME scene and learning a lot.
However there was a new EVSD SBD of Immigrant Song released last night that is spectacular. That seems to be "new". Kind of like the Black Dog they released a while back. I wish they would go ahead and release the full 1971-09-29 Japan show already. Those two releases sound amazing compared to the other versions I have heard so far.
However, I have read that it is quite possible Page and company are planning an official release of the unreleased '71 Japan tour recordings. Especially since they have depleted the studio archives.
I'd like to say I'm sorry, I'd like to say I'm sorry, I'd like to say I'm sorry...BUT I AIN'T SORRY!
getting into electronic music, 90s electronic specifically, has really threatened my previous belief that almost no album needs to go much beyond 40 minutes. something like this has so much going on it needs 70+ minutes to get it all out
Caleb's new one dropped today too. Great record, a little less country than the last one but he just keeps getting better and a fellow heAthen to boot.
We call him Scooby Do, but Scooby doesn’t do. Scooby, is not involved
