Know of a great band you think we'd like to hear about? Got some music news? Or just want to talk about music in general? Post it here.

Been on a big Brian Fallon kick. The middle 3 Gaslight Anthem albums, and his solo album.

I'll just assume the trajectory of your life has been drastically altered and you're dealing with some heavy shit right now.

Also, boobies.
Been listening to these guys lately because of this board. This rules.

hell yeah! the new one and Lore are certainly worth seeking out as well. the 1st one is non essential- they were trying to find their footing and it's kind of derivative. the 12" Spires Burn/Release is good, though.

I got it based on your recommendation in this thread I believe. On vinyl as it was the only format it was available on at the time. (It only recently became available on iTunes I believe). Then my old turntable broke down shortly thereafter. Have been wanting to hear it again so it was the first one I thought of when the new turntable was in house.

I'm sure you are excited to be able to play your vinyl records again. That's great! Hopefully Bright Flight lived up to my hype.

Indeed! Been listening to these two a lot over past several weeks. I have the 50 years of Del box set but these two have their hooks in me, especially the Woody Guthrie one

However, once those two were done I put on a bunch of Dylan, currently got Street Legal on, with Senor on repeat

Del McCoury fun fact: his middle name is Floyd ;) plus he was born in western NC, kind of like another Floyd we all know and loathe

here's a great song from the Del and Woody record

Son, this ain't a dream no more, it's the real thing

Bjork - Utopia

It's pretty good but could do with a few more melodies, at times it sounds like an avant garde classical record.
