R.E.M - Lifes Rich Pageant

Still stands up for me. Best show I caught by them was on this tour.

Even though I'd been a fan since Murmur, I didn't see them in concert until the Pageantry tour came to Durham in 1986. It remains my favorite concert of all time to this day. Let's Active opened on what just so happened to be Mitch Easter's birthday. At the end of Let's Active's set Buck and Mills came out to sit in on a cover of "Hush". After no less than two encores, Stipe dove off the stage into the audience twice causing Cameron Indoor Stadium to erupt with near deafening applause.

Y'all give these guys a listen. Fantastic album that deserves the proper attention. And I'm not their manager.

Listened to this one today, I like what I hear. I know many people aren't into them playing Star Wars in its entirety but I dig it. Plus the acoustic encore, solid.

That's awesome. I used to watch High Grass Dogs at least once a month but tonight ended a 2-3 year drought.
Tom did a run of shows at the Fillmore a few years before Dogs and one night his big guest was Carl Perkins. I have seen pics but I would kill to watch /listen to that show.
