hell yes. And the Nesmith. Nice work.
Big, big fan.
There is a Buckaroo playing the steel on all those Nelson records. How could they be bad records ?

Randy Meisner was in Nelson's band for a time too. I believe he was Randy's hero and ended up being the guy who gave Randy his big break.
I listen to their live record from the Troubadour pretty often. Brumley was also in the band then.

speaking of Randy Meisnner, one of my favorite moments from Fridays, an all-time favorite show of mine. This show just happened to air on my 15th birthday and I vividly remember watching it that night

Tales of Murder and Dust (all their recordings)

Pretty cool Swedish band who I sadly missed at Psycho last year since they were playing the same time as Sleep. Low key psych more than metal.

Very clever (and observant). It's a good idea to venture outside one's comfort zone every now & then.

Speaking of comfort zones, I can't quit listening to this:

I cringed when I heard the guy who did "Uptown Funk" was going to produce the new QOTSA album, but damn it does this sound good loud with the windows down. Homme definitely pushing outside his Homme bubble. Excited to hear the rest.

Absolutely! I was just going for punny, not substance. If there was any substance at all to my comment it was the extent of the immersion, not the artist per se - I like the Cure just fine, but IMHO there are very, very few artists who can stand up to that concentrated a listen.

Other than their "hits", I've never really paid much attention to The Cure. I decided to give their catalog up through Disintegration a listen. I'll be listening to more of The Cure in the foreseeable future. Seminal 80s band with many watershed moments.

Of course. Complete with a picture of Barry O hammering a blunt. Sessions is gonna get him.
