Know of a great band you think we'd like to hear about? Got some music news? Or just want to talk about music in general? Post it here.

If liking and appreciating this record makes me a hipster, then I guess I'm a hipster.

First foray into Parquet Courts, Clams? I made the plunge not too long ago with Human Performance, which is excellent as well. Dee Dee has been listening/reppin' them for years.

Out today and sounding excellent on first spin. This will tickle the fancy of many 3DDers. Clams would call it "Real Rock".

LOL, a harder question than it looks 'cause I don't really know what it sounds like. I had no expectations when I looked it up, just a recommendation, so I don't have a good idea of what sound/image forms in anyone's head when they read those few words.

I am digging the it after a few listens. Some killer tunes here that will be great live. They have backup girl singers, horns and a pretty groovy vibe throughout. The perfect Hips album.

Jackie Greene played bass on the album. The new bass player is Gabe Nelson previously of Cake.
