What's Everyone Listening to?

Know of a great band you think we'd like to hear about? Got some music news? Or just want to talk about music in general? Post it here.

Bruce Springsteen - Live in Pittsburgh on 9/11/16 via SiriusXm, courtesy of Hertz. Turns out that the post glory days are amazingly glorious too.

We got a fantastic show in Seattle on that tour. Part of the reason I'm hesitant to get tickets for the upcoming tour. Bigger part is the cost of tickets & variable pricing scam. In 2016 he played damn near 4 hours & did a bunch of Darkness stuff in the second half & Eddie Vedder joined him for a song. I have my doubts about him doing a show that good 6-7 years down the line. I don't think the band are fond of the really long shows any more. You could tell they were wore out at the end of the 2016 show. You could see Bruce wanted to keep going & they talked him out of it. Reminds me of the second show I saw in 1978 where they came back out a long time after the lights came on at the end of the show. Half the crowd had left & they did Rave On & Twist & Shout for "the die hard crazies out there" then trashed the stage to definitively end it. End of the tour!

Had a very similar experience in 3/77 at the Music Hall in Boston. One of the great rock n roll moments of my life, as was the entire show.

I've thought that many times over the years, especially when he moved from auditoriums to arenas and from arenas to stadiums and more than once as he has gotten older, but he almost always proves me wrong. Even so, at this point I want to go as much because it may be the last time as for any specific expectations about what the show/experience will be like.

The Belmonts - Cigars, Acapella, Candy I've loved this album from the first moment I heard the first note on the first cut. Not only do I still love it, but I love it differently as I bring a lifetime of experience to the listening experience and I may even love it more than ever. Not a lot of albums I can say that about. I know from experience that most people will not share my enthusiasm but if you haven't heard it (and maybe even if you have) I still say that it would be a shame not to give yourself a chance at a wonderful musical experience. It's on Spotify.

It’s on the album, just small and hard to read

I'm a casual BM listener. Working on digging deeper. Druganaut is pretty tasty. I recently told dime that Tyrants sounds like Sabbath meets Enya.
