Watched the Doug Sahm doc on Prime last night. Highly recommend it. I see a big Sir Doug kick coming on (I'll be in Dallas late next week - seems like appropriate music for the road trip).

Loving this. Patterson could take some cues from Todd on writing political songs. "Talking Reality Television Blues" nails the current state of the world.

This one is my favorite so far; one of the most personal, and beautiful songs Todd's ever done, IMO.
