It reminded me a little bit of Waxahatachee, which I remember you not being a fan of either.

We all have that "thing" that other people like but for whatever reason, we don't. Mine (as it relates to this board) is the Lydia Loveless/Lily Hiatt thing. It's fine, but it doesn't get me excited at all

I've had a hard time getting into Centro-Matic/Will Johnson's stuff outside of "Love You Just the Same". I even saw him live as an opener once and really enjoyed it.

I kinda thought mine was too, but I really dug that Waxahatchee record, and I'm digging Julien Baker. Wiring is a weird thing.

They announced their retirement today. Great band. Had tickets to see them twice, got to see them once.

Very cool cover. Campbell is actually starting to sound like and resemble his former boss. I was gonna see the Dirt Knobs last year but then covid happened (I had my ticket but it got canceled)

Took me about 90 seconds of internet sleuthing (no more than 4 computer clicks) to find this. Diesel Island is Brian Henneman's local St Louis area country band. It seems they're mainly a sort of roadhouse cover band but this record, which I think is their one and only, is all originals (though none by Henneman).

Great live album. Bought a bootleg NY&CH t-shirt with that logo several years ago when Wilco opened for them.

Just picked this up on vinyl from eBay in really good condition and I'm digging it.

I bought it on CD years ago and love the album and found it on vinyl at the right price.

Saw him in a small club here in Charlotte twice (we have a Nigerian community—go figure). Hypnotic and spacey—and he shreds
