The original CD of that was my first intro to The Dream Syndicate... pretty sure I bought that at Planet Records in Kenmore Square and I still have it.

Upper-tier WJ record. Can't put this one down. Perfect for this time of year, too.

The Sundae Painters are the creative collaboration between members of The Bats, The Clean, Tall Dwarfs & Toy Love. Beaming out mysterious sonic frequencies from a farm shed in the South Island, bandmates Kaye Woodward, Alec Bathgate, Paul Kean, and Hamish Kilgour's project documents the four-piece discovering themselves somewhere else musically.

Dungen - 4 (RSD expanded reissue).

haven't gotten to the additions yet but this record is as incredible as i remember. i almost didn't buy it as i don't really need a $40 copy of a record i already (mostly) have, but i am a bit of a Dungen completist and my local store had two copies so i bought out half the stock.
