The Clash - London Calling; s/t

It's not that I don't love these albums and it's not that I don't know that I love these albums. But still, listening to favorite albums after not having listened for some time is almost as big a thrill as hearing them for the first time.

2nd solo album from Turnpike’s fiddle player. I liked his first one, and this is a step up. He put together a killer band of his own, anchored by Ken Pomeroy, a female multi-instrumentalist who is a fantastic singer and takes lead vocals on a few tracks.

Never heard of 'em but will check them out. Thanks for the head's up. I figure the album cover is a pretty good hint about one of their major influences :)
