What's Everyone Listening to?

Know of a great band you think we'd like to hear about? Got some music news? Or just want to talk about music in general? Post it here.

Funny, I have most of his albums, but not this one.
Since I know you're a fan and you like the other records, I think it's safe to say you'd dig this one as well
Thanks, I shall give this one a listen.

Now, this goes back a ways. Damn. You plucked this one out of what, late 80's obscurity? I don't recall this one to well. More familiar with Spiritual Healing and Human after this.

phenomenal Dark Star, nearly 24 minutes, jazzy and out there as fuck, featuring one of the few times they did the Tighten Up jam (this is by all accounts the last time they did it). Below is the original Tighten Up by Archie Bell and the Drells (Archie is the brother of the late (RIP), great Rickey Bell, of USC and NFL fame. One of my favorite running backs ever, for anyone keeping score)

Audio of the aforementioned phenomenal Dark Star

yeah, I know no one gives a fuck but there's the link just in case

Nice!

I was at the Northampton show the night before (October 19). First set was solo Joe. Second set was with Scud Mountain Boys. Third set was with the full band (Pernice Brothers). Excellent show!
