Re: What's Everyone Listening to?
88s should be better for rock and bass slam. Gold Lion or Psvane are probably the way to go with new production. Don’t think you’re getting into a quad of NOS for less than 2Kscotto wrote:^^^I'm currently running a quad of EL34s and am looking to roll in some KT88s. Re: What's Everyone Listening to?
Stock KT88s came with the amp (Primaluna ProLogue 2), but one futzed out so I rolled in EL34s from a pair of monoblocks I have. I love the midrange of EL34s, but yeah, the 88s are definitely bigger and beefier. I doubt there's a quad of NOS 88s in my future, however.Jonicont wrote:88s should be better for rock and bass slam. Re: What's Everyone Listening to?
Lately I've been on a Todd Snider kick and am currently playing his album Agnostic Hymns and Stoner Fables here at work. I like the first and last tracks in particular.
I'm sure a lot of folks at this forum know Todd better than I do. I've known about him for a long time but haven't really sought out his body of work until recently.
Here's a song is from his Peace Love And Anarchy album that has a bit of a DBT vibe to it, in my opinion - maybe just because it's a rock band song instead of solo acoustic guitar.

Re: What's Everyone Listening to?
Lately: lotsa Sturgill, lotsa Childers, some Springsteen and some DBT Decoration day. And also that new Jay Som record and plus I discovered a new spotify playlist called Back Porch.
