conor oberst - salutations
i prefer the ruminations versions of all those songs so i dont play this as often, but these takes mostly work too and the added tracks make it a worthwhile appendix to an extremely strong period of writing

This. Not sure if I've ever gone out of my way to listen to a Ry Cooder album, although I've been aware of his presence for years.bovine knievel wrote:Some Ry Cooder sounds perfect. I'll join ya.

Love those Stax records!
Listening to Mavis Staples's new live single release "No time for cryin'" on Spotify at my desk. Up next Charles Bradley, Black Velvet.

I'm just acknowledging that I probably went a good week without listening to anything other than their last album while I was harvesting last fall.
