Cheesy, sloppy, hilarious, creepy, majestic, and any other adjectives you can probably throw in between. Loved this when I was 15. Still love it in my mid-40's.

It took 13 minutes for them to play a note, and I thought I was having a bad reaction to medication or something (and I'm not on medication)

Saw it in a theater with my girlfriend when I was 17 or so and walked out even though I was a Zep fan at the time. Maybe it was the insufferable "dramatic" sequences interspersed with the music. Or maybe I was just anxious to start making out with my girlfriend.

I was 24 and she was 22 and had the best collection of Zep boots I've ever seen--saw her on Facebook today talking about Zeppelin, in fact--and I fell asleep right there in the movie theater.

I mean, Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii has some silly footage of the band meandering around steam vents and such (in the most bored, 70's way possible), but at least that's happening while music is playing. The middle-aged, balding, tommy-gun wielding gangsters who shoot up the werewolf, faceless man, and Mr. Rainbow Blood have fuck all to do with anything.

I keep going back to both Sarah Shook albums. And found Avett Brother's True Sadness for sale at the library today for $2. Had to get that.

Starting to prep for a big American Aquarium blast in the next year. Hoping to catch BJ and his bandmates a few times in the next 12 months.
