What's Everyone Listening to?

Know of a great band you think we'd like to hear about? Got some music news? Or just want to talk about music in general? Post it here.

There ya go. One of a small handful of records released this year that's getting multiple plays
King Tuff did not resonate. I'll give this one a shot.

With ya Clams.

He/they are one of those bands that, based on all the other stuff I dig, I should totally be into. Can't catch it tough. His voice kinda grates on me, too.

In the same vein, while I think I'd really like to catch Ty Segal live, his records leave me wondering what the big deal is. Less weirdo, more rock.

ty segall is one of the biggest cases of an act i should love but dont going for me. hes got the right influences and his stuff all sounds good, but the songs just arent there. nothing sticks

the more i hear this the more i appreciate what they did here. could have been a disaster or a glorified solo project but all members commit so fully to this shtick, with an absolutely brilliant vocal performance holding it all together. four out of five is such an earworm

"Tough Folks" just jacks me up. It's the song we need these days.

My rotation right now is pretty much just the two Sarah Shook records and the new Courtney Barnett. With a little Dommengang thrown in for good measure.

Moondoggies - A Love Sleeps Deep

Definitely a grower, as I was pretty unimpressed the first few spins. Doesn't have the "wow" factor of the last record, but there is some great stuff here
And I knew when I woke up Rock N Roll would be here forever
