figured i was due to finally hear this given a lot of electronic stuff ive fallen for recently. it is admittedly a bit of an endurance test but its been hitting the spot for me early in the day lately


library music, much mellower. mostly flute, naturally, but some synths and whatnot as well. very comfortable

When this was released I was, shall we say, effusive in my praise so I was curious how it would sound "x" months after I last listened to it.

Verdict: This album kicks all kinds of ass and is an incredible bargain as well.

I still can't get sick of this.

It will be interesting to see what effect, if any, being Mr. Miranda Lambert has on Evan Felker. I'd have to think the situation of going from being basically unknown outside of people who are really into Americana (whatever you want to call it), to being attached to a bona fide celebrity overnight would yield some interesting songwriting opportunities. Especially if she goes through him as quick as she goes through most guys.

ive been making more of an effort to follow newer jazz acts lately and this album is killer

First spin. Out tomorrow. I've heard the first 3 songs and think they're on par with the best stuff Dave Simonett has done.
