My stepson just got home with some borrowed band equipment. He asked me to help him carry a big amp to the basement. I told him I could help him with the amp and a guitar or two.
NP:
The Living Bubba from Homecoming 2017.
ETA: I was just going there for one song, but I think I'm in it until the end now.
ETAA: Every now and then I listen to a show I saw and am amazed and proud that I saw it happen because it's just that damn good.

So did the mighty, mighty Gourdscortez the killer wrote:I haven't heard any Tyler Childers songs, but that lyric is from the oft-covered "Rock, Salt & Nails" originally written by the Wobbly, Utah Phillips. Joe Ely does a great cover of it, too.

It's a perfect song in every way, and it features some of the finest backing vocals you could ever want to hear

Mr Bungle-Mr Bungle. I heard Mr Patton was in a wreck and had to cancel some shows a bit back and it reminded me of this album. I wore this cassette out in high school and I've found I still love it just as much. It's one of the best collections of music, lyrics, blerps, bloops and beeps I've ever heard. Squeeze Me Macaroni is worth the price of admission by itself.

Re: What's Everyone Listening to?
What started out as a so-so year has really picked up in the last few months with Lee Bains & the Glory Fires, Tyler Childers and this gem all of which will be in my top 5-6 at year's end. "The Night David Bowie Died" and "So Much You Don't Know" are among the best songs released by anyone this year.
We call him Scooby Do, but Scooby doesn’t do. Scooby, is not involved
