Really different, psychedelic, garagey direction with this record. Loving it so far. The only song I've heard that really reminds me of older SCOTS is "Swamp Fox - The Original" which is an update of of one of their songs they first did on Mojo Box in '04.

First spin since seeing them perform twice during Hopscotch. Sometimes I have to put some space between. This sounds particularly good driving down the road into the pitch black night, windows down and the record full blast.

Gearing up for Friday (and I have barely listened to anything from the new album other than a Cooley song or two and "What it Means". Starting with the above Saturday, it will basically be nothing but DBT all week!

Again.

Listened to heavy doses of this and "Okey Dokey" all weekend. Great albums, both of them. Likely Top 10 of '16 for sure.

Israel Nash on shuffle (Rain Plans, Silver Season, Barn Doors). Sounds like autumn music to me.
