I hear ya. It just so happens, I hadn't had my Lizzy fix in a while. Picked out Nightlife from my library and put it in my car the other day.

Yeah, it is. I've been down on Caleb because he walked around town looking and acting like a poor man's Ryan Adams, and did a good friend's little sister and Dad wrong years ago. But I must say, the months he spent touring with John Moreland has rubbed off. I listened to the download three times today, and Thursday I'm going to the local record shop to get the wax. He seems to have really chilled out and grown up lately.Tequila Cowboy wrote:
Just fantastic.
Funny story- I cook at a longtime local restaurant, and the owner made today's special the "Caleb Caudle Carolina BBQ burger". He came in of course to have one on the house, and I'm pretty sure I made his. I sent him a msg on Facebook and he thanked me for the burger and the praise. Good kid.

do you know if he is related to the great Bob Caudle, who announced Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling out of Raleigh for decades? He was an institutionroland wrote:Yeah, it is. Re: What's Everyone Listening to?
I saw that burger! Caleb posted it on FB. Very cool. I actually met him at a DBT show at the GA Theater several years back and got into his music following that. Then he signed with the TIAM guys who are friends of mine. It sounds like everything is clicking for him right now and he's getting a ton of press. It's good to see!roland wrote:Yeah, it is.
