What's Everyone Listening to?

Know of a great band you think we'd like to hear about? Got some music news? Or just want to talk about music in general? Post it here.

Pretty fuckin' cool that he was the bass player for Stillwater.

You've got a lot of mining to do. Nice dig on the Almost Famous connection, did not know that.

See Kozelek start Tiny Dancer in the bus scene at 1:12

Work just celebrated my tenth year with them. They gave me 25,000 points in this online reward catalog.
I picked these:

Pretty good haul for ten years I guess.

Didn't know that either. Of course, the first thing I think of when I hear someone mention Stillwater is this band:

Sun Kill Moon is one of those artists that's been hanging around my radar for years (a buddy burned me Ghosts of the Great Highway back in '06) but I've never really sat down with Kozelek & Friends and took the dive.

When dee dee, Cortez, and yourself are all flaunting an act, the odds of me enjoying it are historically high.

Ghosts of the Great Highway is one of the greatest gifts I've experienced frequenting this thread, an absolute beautiful gem.

Prolific as hell (particularly recently) - Red House Painters, Sun Kil Moon, solo, collaborations. Have fun diving in, Iowan.

as always, checking in to see what cortez the killer is listening too

and i am digging English Ocean's quite a bit, dig the 2 songwriter approach a lot. reminds of BTCD/Go Go Boots production wise. great songs.
