"The Wire" is catchy as hell. Other than that I don't think the album (or band) has much staying power, but I'm enjoying it right now.

No fuckin' clue how one would characterize it other than throwing Wah Wah Cowboy out there. One thing I do know is that Mike Therieau sounds very much like this semi-mysterious Mordicai Jones character.

One listen in. Similar to
Maraqopa and way better than that Haim shit you had on earlier.

The thing about Dino Jr is that even their last few albums kick so much ass and they have shown no signs of slowing down. They were THE band in high school for me and
Green Mind is still my favorite of theirs. I have listened to J's solo album more than any of them the last year or so. They really don't make a bad record. A top 5 band for me.

Unfortunately, it was Labor Day weekend and attendance was sparse. Also, a couple of the performers had to drop off of the tour which left us with the Tim Lee 3 and Brent Best. Below is a clip of the still unrecorded (and new at the time) Brent song, "Footnote".

I love this album. A friend gave it to us a while back but the oldest is just recently able to really appreciate it.
