I like most of it. I think it's pretty ballsy for ANY artist to decide (at the pinnacle of his/her success) to put out an album that's a complete departure from the songs that got you where you are. I also love that he basically blew up the autotune thing, saying "if you're gonna use it, USE IT"

Sadly, the overly autotuned stuff that has come out since is crap in comparison

Yeah, I pretty much agree with all of this. Kanye actually uses the auto-tune for an intended effect (and mostly succeeds) rather than the hacks that followed him and just figured "oh, Kanye's singing with auto-tune and people like it, I'll do that too" without really understanding why it worked, or having the songs to back it up.
