I've heard it too, Smitty. And I hate to say it but I just don't get the Boss anymore. I go way back with Bruce (1980) and I like a lot of the stuff he's done in the past 13 or so years since getting the band back together. But this makes two records in a row that I'm not digging in a big way. Back-up gospel singers, strings, celtic flutes, etc. His records have too much stuff that just doesn't appeal to me, and when he plays live the stage is just overcrowded with crap. I guess he thinks that bigger is always better. At this point he's entitled to do what he wants, but he's lost me completely. I wish he'd just strip it down and play some clubs.
