Maybe this has been noted in the thread, but I caught "You Ain't Alone" in a Zales commercial last night.

This may be somewhat offensive to some on this board, but has anyone else compared Brittney to Adele? Both very soulful young ladies with a big voice. I give Brittney the ups on musical style and guitar slinging, though. Just a thought.

Adele has a great voice, and some good songs (I'm not as convinced as the mainstream that every song on her last album was great), but I think Howard is beyond that. She's a great front-woman. She owns that band, the stage, and the crowd when she plays.
Just put the goddamn record on and enjoy it

European Tour - WOO HOO
And they're playing in Birmingham which makes it a whole lot easier.

Sorry, that don't qualify for a 'European tour'.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. ACL, selling out clubs all over the US, touring Europe, etc. Crazy indeed.

Yes! To my ears, they are channeling The Stones '69 visit to Alabama.

I just got home with a copy of the Third Man Records live 7 inch. It's pretty-much bad-ass. Go get it.

Good call Cortez, those guitars do sound Stonesey. They channel a lot of different stuff. Their whole vibe just screams retro.
