I knew I liked Todd! From an interview about the new record posted on his FB page:
I’ve always thought that, and I’ve always felt the deepest person in the band was probably the drummer, or the one saying the most.

Motherfucker.
I just posted a bunch of leaks to rare and unreleased Todd albums and tracks from my fucking kindle (PC is down currently) and lost the post. Its such a bitch to format links from a tablet.
Let me know if anyone wants updated links to Todd Sings Kristofferson or Todd Sings Jerry Jeff, Countryfied (the country rock album with Dan Baird see below), early rarities/demos (12 unreleased songs), an ep of studio covers (no place to fall, shattered, relax your mind, you look like I could use a drink, all you need is love) or live compilations of Todd covering the Stones, Prine, Dylan or Billy Joe Shaver.

Two cases of flu in less than a month....I doubt it. Last year the story was back trouble wasn't it ? I've witnessed one of his "sicknesses" firsthand and I just won't go see him anymore because I don't know what kind of show I'll get, or if I'll get a show at all.
Hopefully he can pull it together.

I guess I've been fortunate, out of all the Todd shows I've seen over the years I've never witnessed one that was anything less than stellar, including his most recent performance with Rorey Carroll (who I enjoyed immensely) at Cat's Cradle in Carrboro, NC.

I'm surprised he's made it this long. I'm a massive fan, and have always had good shows from him, but some folks just aren't built for the long haul. Todd strikes me as one. The most brilliant ones tend to be.

The song cued up in my brain after reading a story about Rand Paul bitching about masks while not wearing a mask!!!

It looks Todd is threatening to resign from his label (which I thought he owned) and not release the new album. I can't tell if this is a joke, or a Todd meltdown. Either possibility is equally likely.

It seems pretty legit. It's all over his social media but we all know Todd doesn't run them. Kinda strange the label is asking people to say nice things about him. I wonder what song they put on his album without his permission.
