Heard back from Travis, he squared things away.
Received an email today with a download link for the new songs (320KBPS to boot).
They said everyone on the list will get a CD in the mail before the release date.

Grateful for their response.

Hope to see Brent on the East Coast sometime this Fall to be able to thank him personally.

When I first donated 5 years ago, I think I was expecting a lo-fi effort, Brent sitting around in his kitchen, recording songs (ala "Nebraska"), but this is really well crafted, full on band, electric guitar, piano...

Let's hope a full on Slobberbone disc and tour are in the cards...

Brent is going to tour in August and I believe Slobberbone might start to think about a record after that. The touring is tough for the other guys because of their jobs.

I read (through Last Chance Records in the Facebook comments) that New West has plans for Slobberbone albums. My initial thought was their previous albums on vinyl. We will see.

I got the download link on Sunday and now all is well. The album sounds great and I can't wait to give it some more time. After reading the letter from Brent I felt bad for ever having any ill feelings about the whole deal. I still loved Slobberbone and Brent's music and would continue to support them. I just figured that deal fell through and moved on. So to see it all come to fruition is really exciting. And the product is well worth the wait. Thank you Brent for being a solid dude and sticking to your word.

Brent was supposed to do an in-store at Waterloo herein Austin yesterday. I guess he called an hour before and said he wasn't gonna make it. I hope everything is alright. I was looking forward to hearing a few of the new tunes live.
