It's an outdoor shed and Neil has played there before. I wasn't shocked to hear this is the rumor. I was happy though as I can drive to this one.

I saw CSNY in Hershey. Not sure which venue it'll be in (there are several, both indoor and outdoor)
And I knew when I woke up Rock N Roll would be here forever

From NPR:

Watch Neil Young's 'Americana' Film

by BOB BOILEN

Neil Young and Crazy Horse have a new record coming out Tuesday. Americana is blistering guitar romp through the classic American songbook, from the 1800s to doo-wop and beyond. Well today we we have a 40 minute film created by Bernard Shakey (Young's alias) filled with the music from Americana.

Shot in silent-film style just a few weeks ago at the Southern California gallery of graphic designer/illustrator Shepard Fairey, the film stars Young as an author who visits an art gallery in hopes of finding illustrations for his new book about great American songs. Once the author finds the proper illustrations, we get to hear the songs from Americana accompanied by film footage from the great silent film era, including the work of legendary director D.W. Griffith.

Americana will be released on June 5. The artworks by Fairey will be displayed at the Perry Rubinstein Gallery in L.A. in June and July.

You watch the film either by clicking here or by visiting Neil Young's website.

The info for this event has changed. It is now happening on June 7 at 7:30 and will feature a screening of the entire film Journeys followed by a q&a about the film with Neil Young and Jonathan Demme.

This is my neck of the woods. This will no doubt be in Hershey Park Stadium where I've seen Bruce twice and countless high school sporting events. If you hear anything else Bill, let us know. You'd be close enough to us to cut our grass.

If you are short on time or suffer from ADD, skip forward to the 5:45 mark to witness Neil's attempt to resurrect Bruce Berry.

I suspect it will be a lot different from when I last saw NY & CH 9 years ago.

Alas, no dates in the Cackalack. Hopefully he'll make it here eventually. Believe it or not, I've only seen Neil in concert twice and neither of those shows were with the Horse.

It appears The Horse is holding onto a decades-long grudge over "Sweet Home Alabama."

Yeah, I'll be doing the Patriot Ctr date, even though I'm not a huge fan of the venue. Also, I'd rather have Los Lobos than Patti Smith but its all good.

GG-hey, keep me in the loop of FarmAid as well. I'm right down 81 in Hagerstown.

Perhaps they're holding out for a tour of the South with the DBTs.

I am so excited that the tour closer is in my backyard in Bridgeport! Definitely in for that one. I will also probably go to the NYC show on November 27. Boston, Philly, and Los Angeles are other possibilities (LA has Los Lobos plus I am fairly positive Bridge School Benefit will be the following weekend in Mountain View...could fly to LA, see that show, then up to the Bay Area the next day.).

I know that area pretty well. We go to Shephardstown, WV quite a bit via Sharpsburg, which I think is the same exit. Plus, ive been lost in Hagerstown. But, I'm not sure you want to rely on me for a big show like this. You may end up at a Twisted Sister reunion show instead. I'd follow Bill in CT lead, that's what I'm planning to do.

Some good news about the Neil tour...the cheapest tickets will be GA floor (similar to the 2008 tour with Wilco and Everest). So I'll be going for those. The only exception will be the Hollywood Bowl show in Los Angeles which I think is all reserved seating.
