I had thought that in order to post a YouTube clip you:
1. Clicked on the youtube button.
2. Paste into the gap between the Tags - everything after the "= " sign on the youTube URL
However, this doesn't work for me.
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong here?

that sounds right.
There is a new version of this message board software that just lets you paste the full URL of YouTube, Twitter, etc. links and they will show up in full. Not sure if jonicont and company are ready to make that jump yet, however

This is one hell of a cover version of Bruce's 'Open All Night'.

Thanks anyway Zip... Turns out that you just need to insert the part of the URL from after the = sign and before the ampersand [&] ---- big and all as the Internet is - do you think I could find that instruction - nope! In the end I finally looked at the metadata of a video post and figured it out

Sorry, didn't know you had the "&..." part on there. But yes, it's not very user friendly in phpBB v3

The great Bob McDill talking about writing Good Ole Boys Like Me for Don Williams. Good shit....he wanted to tell about the south he grew up in, not the one that was on the Dukes Of Hazzard. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEjxQRzcb3s

In the 80s and 90s The Stones often had the band (or band members) Du Jour up on the Stone's stage. Sir Mick requested Izzy and Axl from G N' R. Well one of the two vocalists sucked up all the stage presence up during the Stones' Salt of the Earth pay-per-view 1989 performance, and it wasn't Mick. I wonder what he thought afterwards when its obvious Rose during this one song at a Stones concert has more stage presence than himself?

dying to go to Montreal, one of the only places left in North America that I want to go but haven't yet
Got to see Lou do the complete New York in Charlotte, NC in August of 1989. It was stellar, plus the opener was Half Japanese with Maureen Tucker
