Every Thursday night there is an old time jam in my old hometown of Jackson, Tennessee. Some nights it is at the Casey Jones Village, others it is up the street at the IHOP. Jackson is kinda in the middle of nowhere, between Memphis and Nashville. Someone who is from the area is Teresa Williams, singer-songwriter and wife of Larry Campbell. I guess they were in town for the holiday last night and Larry dropped into the IHOP and brought his mandolin and fiddle.

Maybe it's just that the contrast between the affectless lyric and Morrison's emotionalism is like made for me, but I thought it was the high point of the superior version of The Wall.

Interesting point, and kudos to him for making that artistic choice if that's the case. But I still ldon't like it.
