what other online music boards/groups do you frequent?
The Rust List, a large, international Neil Young group, it's a listserv via yahoogroups. Our very own billfromCT is a prominent Rustie
The Phil Zone, an enormous free-for-all of a site, centered around but by no means limited to Phil Lesh/Grateful Dead. Besides me, I know of at least two other Zoners who are also here, at least some of the time
http://www.philzone.org/
Cucurbitaceae, a somewhat small but very passionate and devoted site to The Gourds. It's another yahoogroups listserv. Kevin Russell of the Gourds is an active participant, which is very cool.
what about yo'uns?

I used to go here: http://www.stevehoffman.tv/forums/
...almost as much as 9B.
It's a great place to find out about all things audio--recordings, equipment, news, etc.--but I got tired of all the "There hasn't been any music worth a shit since 1972," conversations, not to mention reading about all the Beatlephiliacs wetting themselves over picking up that rare yellow-label Parlophone with the alternative pressing where you can hear Paul fart right before the piano crescendo in "A Day In the Life," so, I only check in once a week or so these days.

The Rust List can get that way about Neil. And since they don't go for much off-topic stuff, it can get a little myopic. But the people are great, no doubt about that

As whatwouldcooleydo? mentioned I'm on the Rust List as well. Another Rustie friend who is here is rdvdijk who runs the great http://rustradio.org where you can listen to Neil Young shows every weekend.
I'm on the Message Pit (forum on official Pearl Jam page) as is our own Flying Rabbit and probably others too. I know rdvdijk and Howlinwolf are also Pearl Jam fans.
I'm on the Ryan Adams Archive.
I'm also on the Yahoo lists for Slobberbone and The Bevis Frond.

I enjoy lurking over there occasionally, but haven't registered at all. This is the only board for me.

I hadn't seen him around here in some time, hence me not including him along with you, Bill.

I'm on the Mother Hips board. http://www.the-grotto.com/ big surprise I know.
also http://doublecrosswebzine.blogspot.com/ is a hardcore blogsite. Interesting articles if you're into old school hardcore. No board but you can comment.

I have several friends that are likely still on the Grotto. You ever see the movie about the Hips called This is The Sound? A good friend of mine here in Chico made that

Of course I have that. It is freakin sick. Tell Bill we're ready for part 2. They are my other favorite band.

Re: what other online music boards/groups do you frequent?
There are zero other music boards that I visit. I used to get on Via Chicago from time to time but not in years. I actually spend most of my time on http://ouinsider.com/forums/ and http://ouhoops.com/forum/
Re: what other online music boards/groups do you frequent?
iorr.org. It's a Stones board and I occasionally visit the Crowded House board at Frenz

Re: what other online music boards/groups do you frequent?
Mainly the music forum on AtEase. It's really a Radiohead board but it's pretty huge, and the music forum is almost a separate forum and there's plenty of people there who (like me) don't post in the other parts of the forum. There's plenty of idiots there and there's not really any rules at all, but there's a bunch of good members who make it worth my time. http://www.ateaseweb.com/mb/index.php?showforum=44
I also post on mygnrforum (a Guns N' Roses forum, but I only post in the other music section nowadays, although not much. http://www.mygnrforum.com/index.php?act=idx) and CRF2 (a classic rock forum that kinda bores me mostly, but there's a bunch of good posters there. http://crf2.com). I used to frequent other forums but most of them kinda suck.
