Jeff said it was a cover from a band that wasn't as good as Young Fresh Fellows. Evidently Uncle Tupelo opened for YFF in the 90s & they've been friends since. This was the last night of a 7 show mini tour of the northwest. Great show!

Listening to the version Glyn Johns submitted in 1969. I can see why they rejected it & had to turn to Phil Spector although they would've been better off giving it to George Martin.

Yeah, the riffs on here are elite. Hard to keep up with the insane output, but this one's a keeper. The closer is epic GBV.
