After to listening to Team Dirty South's stream of the Friday show and finding out afterward that more Saturday tickets had been released, willSFC and I decided to make a cheap up to Nashville from the Shoalsfor night two. Glad we did. It was as strong a show as Friday. Thanks to Matt and Cole of the DBT crew for assisting the audio/video tapers.

Bobby Keys and The Sufferin' Bastards opened the show and were fantastic. The set was a very tiny sample of some of the great cuts Bobby has played on over the years.

I like the Truckers with David Barbe. The band sounds heavier on tracks like "Buttholeville," "Lookout Mountain" and "Play it All Night Long." Like Friday, the band brought out some gems like "Pin Hits the Shell," "Daddy Learned to Fly" and "Goode's Field Road."

Check YouTube.com/will24411 for videos.

enjoy!

Damn...nice sounding recording. I might have to pick up a pair of those Avantones.

I like how they sounds with Barbe. Makes me more psyched for the Colorado shows.

Thanks.

Yep, we taped the Bobby Keys' set as well. I hope I can get it up somewhere.

Here's a DBT video. Should be more to come

Hopefully some Bobby Keys videos will emerge in time. ;)

Thanks Mike. I've been really happy with them. Great mics for the price. Barbe sounds really good with The Truckers. I think you'll like it.

Thanks and it's a pleasure doing it.

My son (willSFC) is the video person so it's up to him. If I had to guess, however, I'd say a full show is a likelihood, just not sure when. He said the video from both angles was good, which is a good sign. I primarily run audiot but I had the stationary camera mounted to my mic stand in front of the sbd. Will was running left of the sbd.

He would have had the full New Daisy show from Memphis but one of my static shot files was corrupted, which left him with one angle.

We have two camera video of Bobby Keys as well, but it will probably come out post Truckers. The audio is on bt.etree.org.

There were two other tapers and Martin's recording should be great. Martin was streaming both nights.

This sounds fantastic!
I'm curious to hear Martin's recording as the stream was quite distorted during louder parts. (it didn't keep me from listening however) I imagine it was from whatever was used to stream though.
for a few hours, I'm 19 years old and rock and roll is the only thing that matters.
