Show Recommendations

Please post/ask suggestions of shows that you think are "musts" for the DBT/DBT family collection.

Recommend me a show from "The Dirt Underneath" tour. Sending me to archive.org is just fine, just need a specific date.

Thanks!

Show sounds great from the samples I've listened to. Listened to the recommended 7/29/04 show last night. That thing was a BEAST!

Here's a "must have" called Cooley's House. As I understand it, the band did a Xmas show in late 2003 just after Shonna joined. It's unplugged and took place in Cooley's house. You can hear all the band and audience chit chat, drink and song requests, etc. I had it cranked up while doing some yard work last summer, and my neighbor thought I actually had a band playing inside my house... lol. Really good stuff.

IMHO 3-30-2005, and 3-31-2005 are absolute essentials. Lots of Isbell-era material over the two nights and the recordings are some of the best on Archive.

http://www.archive.org/details/dbt2005-03-31.mtx.flac16

and this AUD/SDB matrix of Patterson Hood (and the Screwtopians) show from 4-17-08 with EZB, Jay, Neff and David Barbe playing bass. This is one of those shows that pretty much never leaves my player.

I've tried to download this 3 different times. The rar file downloads but when I go to extract the files, it only extracts like maybe the first 7 or 8 songs. One song, "Do It Yourself" maybe...won't extract and neither will all the songs after it.

Anybody else have trouble with this? I'ma try to download it again as I'd really like to hear it.
