I almost didn't go to this show because I had to go to work the next day, but
willSFC talked me into it since it was so close to home. I'm glad I did.
Anyone who didn't take Jason Isbell's Facebook and Twitter hints about
being at the show missed a historic occasion. He played one song with the
band then came back out during the encore for blistering versions of
"Buttholeville" and "People Who Died." He looked extremely happy on
stage.
Another reason I was glad I showed up was because Will and I were the
only tapers there. We have some video that will eventually pop up on You
Tube.

To be honest, it would have bothered me if I had been unable to get it up before Thursday night.

But Will reminded me about the archived stream on his ustream account.

I just had to try and managed to do it with minimal mistakes along the way.

Did anyone record any of the Futurebirds' sets from this run? I caught the end of their set on the stream last night, and I'd love to hear more.

Whew! Finally got home from Mobile/Birmingham.

I got some of the Futurebirds set from the Crossroads. Hate that I had battery issues because I really liked the band. Just glad I didn't blow the Truckers' set. Will see what I can salvage from it. Have some stills and video I'll work on now that we're home! Thanks for the nice comments about the DBT set. Was SO glad not to screw this one up!
