Howdy, all'y'all, I'm a newly registered Japanese, thank you, Mark.
Well, I'm in Japan, it's hard to see live performances of DBT and other great southern bands.
So this site is very informative for me, envying thou.

Dan Penn came to play in Tokyo last month and I was in Tokyo that night, I'm living in a town Japanese seaside, thou, cos of my work I missed Dan's, disappointed.

Every time playing 'Sandwiches For The Road', I'm deeply moved, cos I'm great fan of Eddie Hinton's.
Luckily, I've downloaded 'Lost and Found' of Jim Coleman and Eddie Hinton from Mr. Coleman's site now deleted.

DBT and co. are great story tellers. They tell what they feel and see as they do, great!

I've been a fan of the great Muscle Shoals cats for over 40 years.
Happy to come this board.

Thanks a lot, Mark. :D

Is the Vic song on a tribute album? Vic definitely needs one done since his untimely passing last Christmastime. That guy suffered through a lot, prime example of suffering and artistry going hand in hand.

Soul Asylum performed Vic's "When I Ran Off and Left Her" on the Sweet Relief Vic tribute album from years ago- they did a nice job- the whole album is pretty sweet actually-
