Venue does look cool. I honestly didn't know the place even existed.
Pretty impressive (and surprising) how fast this show sold out.
I'm guessing we'll get a few new songs, with the recording session just wrapping up.

Not in for Harrisburg tonight but I'll be seeing him tomorrow night in Atlantic City. As good as he is, I think his full band shows have pretty much become a bore lately so really looking forward to seeing him solo.

Only new song was Overseas, which I saw the the band perform over the Summer... Oh well.

Fun show.
Sadler played along side Jason the entire night, providing background vocals and harmonies. Not to mention some great guitar work to go along with Jason's usual fine playing.
Many songs featured extended solos being traded back and forth. Had more of a rock show vibe than an acoustic show one.
Though he played nothing older than "Tour of Duty" / "Alabama Pines", I didn't leave disappointed whatsoever (though one DBT era song would've been nice)...
Saw the band play "Overseas" over the Summer, had a Neil Young / "Hurricane" vibe to it. Last night, got to hear the lyrics better, really dig the song. Here's hoping the new album leans to the rock side of the ledger...
Interesting banter / stories throughout the evening, dude is quick with a word or a line.
Venue was really cool, odd. From the outside, looked like a facade from a building in Nazi Germany, inside, all kinds of zodiac / greek / astrologic imagery on the lighted / domed ceiling. Jason made a few mentions about the ominous look of the building and the "interesting" ceiling. Was some funny shit.

I think, 95% sure, all of these songs are in the correct order. My logging of them was sloppy 3/4 into the show.

Nice summary. Loved the extended guitar work. I thought Sadler added quite a bit to the vocals as well.

One dbt song would have been nice.

Saw him last night with the Mrs at a small club called the Music Box in the Borgata Casino in Atlantic City, NJ. The room was super nice and we had great seats. Similar setlist and vibe as Gepman described above. Best Isbell show I've seen since the old days, so much better than a 400 Unit show. Watching him and Sadler ripping acoustic guitar jams together was really something special. He told a story about playing the same casino with the Truckers back in the day, when they were basically given a corner of a room to set up and play, and he was drunk and had to wait in line for beer with Paris Hilton and her tiny dog. I assumed wrongly he would cover Springsteen's Atlantic City. Super fun evening.

I was at the Harrisburg show. I’ve been to the Forum about 15 times, took my Mom there to see the Harrisburg Symphony. But, a serious venue. I did see Lucinda Williams there as well is Emmylou Harris with Buddy Miller. Loved seeing Jason, besides being the song writer he is, he’s pretty smooth and great to listen to whether he’s singing or talking. It was ten years ago, seeing Jason down the street at the Abby Bar, paid $15 for a ticket and sat with him at the bar watching baseball. He was was going on about Memphis State basketball. Times have changed

Was at that ABC show, too! J. Roddy Walson opened, I think? Times have absolutely changed!
