The guy is a showman. You can't fault him for trotting a good anecdote, even if the location changes. I do like what MNGS717 said about the origin of I've got green and I got blue. It works for me!

So I was thinking about San Francisco and looked at The Fillmore's website today to check their calendar and look what's on the front page:

"Was gonna say I’m a lucky guy because I get to play places like @FillmoreSF, but there aren’t any places like @FillmoreSF.” – Jason Isbell

He's giving Leonard Koan a run for his money.

On the anniversary of John Lennon and Dimebag Darrell's deaths, can we all agree to shut the hell up about Jim Morrison?

Anyone catch the shitstorm on Twitter today? It all started here...

https://twitter.com/Brookylnmint/status/554338364523307009

I just CAN'T believe someone would be insensitive enough to put that kind of thing on Twitter. To their credit, both of them handled it with such grace & good humor. Amazing.

lol, what an idiot. never, EVER ask a woman if she's pregnant - or worse yet, just assume that she is - until she's showing you the damn sonogram pics.

Jason's not the only one who creates things of beauty on Twitter.

Word. Between that pic you shared and the one of Amanda at Taco Bell cradling a burrito, she absolutely CRUSHED it yesterday. Good to know that if the music thing doesn't work out for either of them, they can just go off and be professional twitterers. Or is it twits? Ha.

Jason smacking down bigots supporting the "religious liberty" bills finally says, "I guess I'm just a heathen, still." Tell it.

Jason had some really nice things to say about Jay Farrar a couple days ago on twitter. More people should say nice things about Jay Farrar.

That could be deeper than the Kinks.
